RV Consignment Texas

Friday, January 27th, 2012

An email came in recently from a SellMyRVToday.com customer who caught our attention with a great quote from Davy Crockett. I loved his outright dedication to the state of Texas. You’ll see what I mean when you read it.

Dear SellMyRVToday.com,

I recently decided to sell my RV. I looked into the RV consignment Texas offered. I figured that I was centrally located enough here in my small town to take advantage of the RV consignment Texas based dealers located out of both Houston and Dallas. I could even handle the drive to Austin or San Antonio if it meant getting a good price on a quick sale.

As Davy Crockett said, “The rest of you can go to hell. I’m going to Texas.” I second the sentiment. I’ve never lived anywhere that was so all-inclusive. I have everything I need here in the Lone Star state. That’s why I figured I would be able to find the consignment RV lot that would handle the sale for me in the area.

Everything is bigger in Texas – everyone knows that. It’s true of RVs, too. Texans love recreational vehicles, especially the larger models. It was evident when I frequented a few of the RV consignment Texas lots. There were a LOT of options. I felt that my RV was simply going to get lost in the jumble.

That’s when I stumbled upon SellMyRVToday.com. As soon as I read that you buy RVs outright within a few days, I was sold. I made contact and sold my RV. You already know that though because you bought it and even picked it up from my house. It was fast and it was easy and I got my funds by certified check. It was so simple that people don’t believe me that I already sold my motorhome. The neighbors think I’m playing a joke on them. (That could have something to do with the fact that I did once sneak it into their backyard in the night so that they would wake up to it outside their bedroom window the next morning). We do things like that. I guess they’ll eventually have to accept the fact that I’m not trying to pull anything over on them, but that I actually did sell my RV in less than a week.

Thanks for all your help!

Sincerely,

James R. Cook

RV Consignment, Houston Girl

Tuesday, January 24th, 2012

This email recently came in from a previous SellMyRVToday.com customer that identified herself as RV Consignment, Houston Girl. Read on for her take on the comparison between consignment RV options in Houston and the SellMyRVToday.com process.

Dear SellMyRVToday.com,

I sold my RV! I’m so excited that I can’t even put it into words. I loved that the SellMyRVToday.com guys handled this in less than a week. Why am I so excited about this entire deal? Here’s why:

Before I called SellMyRVToday.com I tried selling my RV on my own. First I tried just throwing a sign up in the window. I had a lot of interest and thought it was going great for about a week. Then I realized that the people coming to see my RV were simply jumping on the chance to check out a recreational vehicle of that particular size and shape, see how well it holds up to use, and consider the various wear and tear issues that can occur. They never even acted that interested in purchasing it. They did, however, want me to meet them at the storage yard, open the vehicle, hang out while they chatted and walked through it a million times and then asked for a test drive. It was more than annoying.

I quickly decided that selling by owner wasn’t going to work for me.

Next I tried the RV consignment route. Houston has a lot of RV consignment lots and let me tell you…throughout the course of my RV selling career I’ve tried a good-sized handful of them. It was time consuming and tedious. It was better than selling by owner, but I needed to sell my RV and it just wasn’t happening. It was on the lots for months without any really serious interest.

Then I heard about your company. I contacted SellMyRVToday.com and within 4 days my RV was gone. I had certified funds in my hands and the RV selling debacle was over. It’s just too bad I didn’t call SellMyRVToday.com first. That would have been a much smarter move. Just call me RV Consignment Houston Girl. I’ve earned the title.

Thanks,

Lisa (aka RV Consignment Houston Girl)

Houston RV Consignment

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012

Houston offers its fair share of RV consignment lots and options. Many RV owners looking to sell, choose to go the “consignment” route. It’s a pretty good route when it comes to RV sales. It offers individual owners the chance to drastically increase the exposure of their RV for sale. It also offers the assistance of experienced sales professionals that can ensure that the paperwork that goes along with a typical RV sale is handled appropriately. Houston RV consignment is definitely better than selling by owner, but what’s better than consignment?

The best method is to call a reputable, experienced company that is waiting to purchase your RV outright. You heard me correctly. At Sell My RV Today we don’t just have experience aiding buyers in selling their vehicles, we are extensively experienced in actually purchasing RVs. You simply get in touch and advise us that you have a recreational vehicle that you’d like to sell. Rather than attempt to sell it on a consignment basis (which can take months or longer), we just buy your RV. We’re interested in buying any model 2002 or newer (except trailers). We pay you in certified funds and pickup your vehicle from your desired location (anywhere in the USA or Canada). We handle all the title paperwork and bank payoffs as necessary.

You want instant cash for your RV? Of course you do. Who wouldn’t want it to be that easy? Well, that’s what we’re all about. You’re welcome to look into other Houston RV consignment options. There are some great ones if that’s the route you decide to use for your RV sale, but it’s not as quick and hassle free as the instant purchase of your recreational vehicle through SellMyRVToday.com. With us, your RV will be sold and your transaction completed within 1-3 days in most cases. That’s what we do and we’re good at it. Get in touch today and we’ll confirm just how easy it is to get cash immediately for your RV.

Suddenly Thinking About Visiting Consignment RV Dealers?

Friday, January 13th, 2012

Are you suddenly considering visiting consignment RV dealers? When the new year rolls around, many people find themselves suddenly thinking about doing things that they’ve never done before. For some that means discovering consignment RV dealers.

We all know what’s happening. We’re looking for something new and exciting, better or more healthy. It’s the mob mentality of resolving to be better and do better that occurs every January. We all decide to make these annual resolutions. Most of us are very excited about them. Some of us follow through. Most who follow through only do so for a week or maybe a month.  Then there is the rare individual who makes a resolution for the year and they actually dedicate the mental time and energy to making it happen. This is the point of the resolution, but it’s harder than it sounds.

If you are suddenly considering visiting consignment RV dealers, your resolution probably involves selling your recreational vehicle. It could be that you see the selling of your motorhome as the way to meet your resolution for decreasing your leisure spending. Or it’s possible that you are selling in order to upgrade or downgrade your recreational vehicle as a means of fulfilling resolutions to travel more or spend more time with family, etc. Whatever your resolutions are, stick to it. If selling your RV is your New Year’s resolution, you’re in luck. You can have it accomplished within a week. That’s starting the year off right. You can’t get it done that quickly with just any of the consignment RV dealers, but with SellMyRVToday.com you’ll have the sale completed within 1 to 3 days on average.

If the only resolution you made involved sell my RV and you get it done within a week or so of the New Year, you might have a problem. You could find yourself getting lazy. To counteract that issue, we recommend you go ahead and choose a secondary resolution. You wouldn’t want to be so efficient that you have nothing to work towards for the rest of the year!

RV Consignment Sales

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Selling is everyone’s business. At least that’s what I read on the cover of a book recently. The author of the book was suggesting that we’re all responsible for knowing the basics of selling. Sales are a must both in life and the work force. We sell ourselves to our employers or clients. We sell our children to their teachers to make sure that they are pushed to their max potential. We sell our opinion on where to eat dinner to social companions. We sell, sell, sell everyday, but there are times when it’s best to take a step back and let a professional take care of the “sale.”

RV consignment sales with SellMyRVToday.com are a great example of when you can benefit from stepping back from the selling process. Simply let the professionals here at SellMyRVToday.com take care of all the annoying parts of the recreational vehicle sale you are looking for. The use of a professional for RV consignment sales typically means that the seller will get a higher price for the rig in comparison to selling by owner. The use of RV consignment sales also typically means that you will enjoy the process of selling your RV rather than dread it.

Why does it make such a difference? With SellMyRVToday.com you will be able to avoid all the annoying bits and pieces that usually suck all the fun out of the process of selling your RV. We handle all the title transfer paperwork. We also handle all the payoff necessities. We make sure that the annoying little tid-bits are handled correctly so you don’t have to worry about them!

Selling your RV? You can do it on your own, but you definitely want to at least consider the benefits of RV consignment sales. Your RV will most likely sell either way. It’s simply that through the RV consignment sales process you’ll probably get a higher price and have it listed for a shorter amount of time. How short? Well, when you go through SellMyRVToday.com we want to buy your RV today. It’s just like it sounds. So give us a call. Most of our transactions are completed in 3 days or less. That’s fast!

Consign RV Vs. Sell RV

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

Consign RV options are often not differentiated in comparison to the traditional “selling” of a recreational vehicle. For those who have not yet experienced the difference; it’s hard to imagine, but there is a real difference between the two processes. The most noticeable is the final selling price. Most will also notice a difference in the amount of hassle related to the actual transfer of ownership. Recreational vehicles are viewed by most as a major purchase; on the level of a traditional home purchase for some. This can make the process a bit complicated.

When RV owners decide to sell their RV, they have a few choices. They can trade it in towards another vehicle at a dealership. This is simple, but everyone knows the major downfall of trading in a vehicle is that you don’t really get what it’s worth.

They can sell it on their own. This is roughly the equivalent of throwing a “For Sale by Owner” sign up in your yard and waiting for someone to drive by and discover it’s exactly what they’ve been looking to buy.

Or they can look into consign RV options.

When you decide to use consignment RV, you may not think it’s going to be much different than selling it on your own, but in most cases you would be wrong. Most RV sellers who go through consignment methods are able to obtain a higher purchase price. They are also able to enjoy a decrease in the average amount of time they have to “wait” for a buyer. Selling RVs on consignment sell faster than those that are sold “by owner.” On top of all of that, owners who sell their RV on consignment are also able to benefit from the streamlined transfer of ownership processes in place with professional consignment centers and companies.

There’s just no argument. Consign RV options are far more beneficial for owners than the typical for sale by owner. Check it out before you decide to handle it all on your own.

Buying a Consignment RV? SellMyRVToday.com – Sell Your RV Today

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

Are you considering purchasing a consignment RV? Are you unsure exactly what that means? Is it making you nervous to make a major purchase without fully understanding the process?

We had an email come in recently from a new RVer, Kurt B., who outlined his secret fears during his purchasing process. He mentioned the general “nerves” that come with making a large purchase, but that’s not what we found so interesting. His most interesting RV purchasing “fears” were related to the fact that the RVs he was most interested in buying were consignment RVs.

Why did that increase Kurt’s fear of the purchase? It was mostly because he didn’t understand what consignment meant or what it meant for him specifically. Here’s an excerpt from his email:

“I couldn’t be sure and I should have looked into it before I let my imagination run away with me, but for some reason I decided that the simple addition of the word consignment meant a lot of confusion. I let the idea that it wasn’t ‘good for me’ snowball into a major prejudice against the entire concept. It gave me that same feeling that I was involved in a land purchase without a real estate agent and the seller has one, or that I was involved in a court case with no legal representation.”

This is an extreme case of prejudice against the concept of RV consignment. Kurt did eventually calm down and make his purchase on a consignment basis, but we felt that many might have the same irrational fears as he did simply because he didn’t understand the concept of consignment. So let’s talk about it.

There are consignment retail shops dotting every major city. They are simply a place where individual owners of items of varying values can bring their items for sale. They leave them in the retail setting until the right buyer finds them and makes a purchase. The consignment shop owner handles the sale in a professional manner and receives a portion of the purchase price in exchange.

It’s not scary. Many of us have purchased shoes, furniture, clothing, home décor and more from just such a consignment shop without even noting the special process. It’s really no different when you are making the larger purchase of a recreational vehicle. It’s a retail outlet that is offering you access to a lot of RVs that have come from individual owners at a fair price. Don’t let the term “consignment” make you nervous. It’s not as intimidating as you might imagine. It’s actually not intimidating at all!

At SellMyRvToday.com we purchase these consignment RV’s and we know the great condition they are in when we are done reconditioning them, so there is no need to fear consignment RV.

RV Consignment Southern California – Dear Sir or Madam:

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Dear Sir or Madam:

I want to thank you for the help you offered by purchasing my Recreational Vehicle from my children.  I am a widow, and I am no longer able to enjoy the RV lifestyle, so I gifted my motorhome to my four children.  It was one of the very large types that look like one of those big tour busses.

Bless their hearts, my children were grateful, and tried very hard to use it, but neither of the four had a place to store it, and I have moved out of the larger home that my husband and I used to live in.

I know the kids thought they would hurt my feelings if they said they wanted to sell my RV, but I told them it would be silly not to.  The motorhome for sale was worth a great deal of money, and those kids and their families could use a little boost like that.

My son pulled up RV consignment Southern California on the computer, and looked to see if any RV consignment  Southern California dealers would be interested in it.  So many seemed like they might like to buy my RV, but what they offered was offensive.  They were also very unfriendly.  Then we found Helpsellmyrvtoday.com.  Not only were you friendly, you said that you offered an amount of money that I thought was very reasonable, and to top it off, you said you would come get it.  You also promised to handle a lot of the paperwork for us too, so my son accepted the deal.  Everything you promised came to pass.

I so appreciate the fact that you didn’t try to take advantage of us, and that you maintained such a professional demeanor through the whole thing.  Thank you on behalf of my children and I.

Sincerely,

Edna Ramondes – San Diego, California

Consignment RV Sales Houston – Hopeful but Skeptical in Houston

Monday, December 19th, 2011

Hello,

I live in Houston and I want to sell my 2007 32’ Class C RV.  I’m a college student, and I won this motorhome on a game show (which will remain unnamed), but I have no business owning an RV.  I have no time to use it, nor do I have anywhere to store it.

I have found that in the field of consignment RV sales, Houston seems to be a real hot spot, so, obviously I pulled up consignment RV sales Houston, and here’s what I found; about a bazillion sites that all talk about how they sell RVs!  I changed my strategy and typed in “best consignment RV sales” and Sellmyrvtoday popped up.  I started reading people’s different experiences they had gone through with you, and I could not find anyone who had anything bad to say about what they had experienced as they sold their RV with you.  I mean, usually you can find SOMEONE who has had a bad experience, but honestly, I found no negative comments.

Here is the kicker; you said you would actually come get my RV, hand me a check and drive it away.  I am so leery about businesses these days, and talk is so cheap, that you must forgive my skepticism.  However, because of all the great things people have said on the Internet about you, I’m gonna give it a shot.  I just want you to know that I am a skeptic.  I did call your office and they are supposed to send someone out to pick up my motorhome and hand me a check.  Let’s hope that really happens … this year!  I won this unit because I am smart, so I hope I’m doing this the smart way.

My Texas RV Consignment Sale

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011

Dear SellMyRVToday.com,

I just wanted to drop your company a note to let you know that you pulled me out of quite a pickle.  I call the event my Texas RV Consignment Sale!  Seems I ended up owing a great deal of money to the company I used to work for.  I know, a “great deal” is relative, but it was more than I could ever have come up with.  It was when I was at the lowest of my despair that I happened to surf across your website.  I am so glad I did now.

I was selling a very specialized type of jewelry for the company I worked for.  My bosses and I had a falling out, and I went to work for another company doing the same thing for them, selling the same jewelry.  When my old boss found out what I was doing, he enforced a non-compete clause that said I was not to sell any type of jewelry anywhere in the city that I lived in (Dallas) for a period of two years.  Long story short, he took me to court and won.  I ended up having to pay him $6,000.00, which I absolutely did hot have … or did I?

I was sitting in my motorhome trying to decide what I could sell, when it dawned on my that I could sell the very thing I was sitting in … I could sell my motorhome.  That’s when my Texas consignment sale kicked in.  When I saw the sellmyRVtoday.com website, I figured that maybe I could get a little of the value out of my 2005 class C RV, but I never dreamed that you would offer me a fair price for it!  I placed a call to your office and within two days, someone had responded to my home in Dallas and inspected the RV.  She handed me a check right afterwards, which I promptly used to pay off my debt.  So for my Texas RV, consignment sale was a quick, easy solution that otherwise would have probably been futile.

I now have my debts paid off, and I am saving up for another motorhome.  I just want to thank you guys for saving my skin!  I was so impressed with the speed and the professionalism with which you responded to my needs.  I will always keep you in mind should I ever need to have another Texas consignment sale.

Sincerely,

Doing Well in Dallas
